it’s so annoying when you’re trying to find content for a certain character, but you’ve got to scroll through a shit-ton of stuff that doesn’t even involve that character. (for example, don’t tag Bucky Barnes smut as Steve Rogers smut, just because Steve is in the fic for two sentences. nor should you tag an Alex Summers fic as a Peter Maximoff fic, just because Peter was mentioned.) 

if i’m looking for a certain type of content, i only want to see that content. not a bunch of stuff that barely, or not at all, includes the character i’m searching for.

i get that you want more people to view your post, that’s totally understandable. but don’t tag it as something that it isn’t.
